When news broke that culture-transcending icon Kanye West would be joining the roster of celebrity designers at adidas, the sneaker world stood still in anticipation of what was to come. Created in 2015, the adidas Yeezy Boost line has since yielded instantly-recognizable and classic silhouettes that boast the same high level of taste and refinement that we’ve come to expect from his music.
Adidas Yeezy Boost is a line of sneakers created by Kanye West for adidas. It debuted on February 14th in the grey/white Yeezy Boost 750 colorway. What followed was the release of the Yeezy Boost 350 in four colorways (sTurtle Dove, Pirate Black, Moonrock, and Oxford Tan), the Yeezy 950 Duckboot, and another Yeezy Boost in black.
The next YEEZY x adidas arrival is almost here, as the adidas Yeezy 950 Duckboot will be arriving at select retailers both in-store and online this Thursday October 29th. The release sees a departure from the Boost heavy lifestyle releases in the past as the drop will finally see select apparel pieces and these militaristic Duckboots arrive. Kanye’s latest creation is part of the adidas YEEZY 350 shoes collection and will be available in three monochromatic colors ranging from a murdered out all-black-everything, a tonal cream, and a rich brown. What’s more is that this chunky winter footwear option will retail at $585, making it the most expensive cheap Yeezy 750 shoe ever release. The most expensive Kanye West sneaker? Not quite – that distinction goes to the Louis Vuitton collaborations from over half a decade ago. Stick around after the break for more of the Yeezy 950 Duckboot.
Late last year we gave you a first look at one of the new colorways of the popular adidas YEEZY Boost 750 from Kanye’s YEEZY collection. As we get closer to the release of the “brown” colorway, Kanye has been spotted wearing the sneakers more often in public. As part of his current residence in Paris to showcase the new YEEZY 950 shoes to buyers from around the globe, we are getting a better shot of the sneaker and since yesterday also a first release date. The new YEEZY Boost 750 comes with a brown suede upper and a light gum outer sole. The good news is, that the sneaker is scheduled to release on March 18, only two weeks from now. Priced at $350, we will have more retailer information for you in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
